Custom Wheelchair Ramps
Access to Freedom has been installing wheelchair ramps in Southern California for over ten years. We have the knowledge and experience that it takes to assess your situation and recommend the ramping solution that will solve your access problems. We offer both solid aluminum ramp systems and steel ramp systems that are strong, safe and practical. Our modular ramp systems come in various lengths and platform sizes that can be assembled together to form any length or configuration. Custom ramp Features
- Solid aluminum or steel construction. We don’t build wooden ramps anymore. The problem is, they warp, splinter, peel and fall apart in a matter of months in the Southern California climate. The other problem with wood ramps is that they are in constant need of maintenance.
- Rated for 850 lbs. Because of the solid aluminum or steel construction, our ramps are rated for at least 850 lbs.
- Slip Resistant Surface. All of our ramp systems offer a slip resistant surface so that even when it is wet, the surface is safe to wheel or walk down.
- Bilateral Handrails. Our ramps come with handrails on both sides so that they are safe for everyone that uses the ramp whether in a wheelchair or walking.
- Rental Program. We have a short term rental program for your temporary ramp needs. Sometimes you may only need a ramp for a short period of time while rehabbing from an injury or for a visitor that uses a wheelchair. We offer a rental program that will save you money if your needs are temporary.
